How It's Made

From Farm to Fiber

Every KayFiber product begins at the source — harvested banana pseudostems brought directly into our facility. No new crops. No deforestation. Just circular material repurposed with industrial precision.

01

From Farm to Factory

Harvested banana pseudostems — a byproduct otherwise wasted — are brought directly into our facility. No new crops, no deforestation. Pure circular material, repurposed with purpose.

02

Precision Extraction at Scale

Fiber extraction module

Our proprietary Extraction Modules separate long, clean fibers from raw stems through a fully mechanized process. Stalks enter green; fibers emerge white. Zero chemicals. Hundreds of kilograms processed daily.

03

Refining & Conditioning

Raw extracted fiber is strong but coarse. This stage combs, aligns, and conditions each strand — removing impurities, regulating thickness, and meeting the tensile standards required for premium applications.

04

Ready for Craft

Finished fiber ready for craft

Finished fiber ships to artisans and manufacturers worldwide. Cut, woven, stitched, and finished by hand — each KayFiber piece carries the full journey from a banana farm. Sustainable by origin. Built to last.
